Tacoma is a growing city that offers every type of living you can think of. Downtown has undergone a massive renovation with new public transit lines, high-rise urban condos, nightlife, and a variety of fine restaurants, breweries and farmer's markets. Surrounding areas have suburban living with top-rated schools and many homes with water and island views. Rural farm living is also within driving distance of the practice. Within a two hour drive are two national parks, highly rated ski resorts, the Pacific Ocean, and other metropolitan areas. For the few times that you'd like to leave the area, SeaTac Airport is located halfway between Seattle and Tacoma, just a short drive away. Living in the Puget Sound offers the best work-life balance you can find in this country. The summers are warm and offer chances to hike and spend time on the water, while the winters offer a short drive to world-class skiing.
