Central Oregon is known for its pet friendly and welcoming vibe as it is for the mountains, lakes, and rivers that surround it. Beyond its stunning natural beauty, Oregon boasts a thriving arts and culture scene, sustainable initiatives, and a deep commitment to community enrichment. Wander through local galleries, catch a live show, and revel in the splendor of the great outdoors.
Central Oregon has 4 distinct seasons with adventures available to explore and enjoy year round. Winter fun for everyone: wax your skis, dust off the fat bike, and strap on your snowshoes! From snow covered mountains and trails, there is plenty of winter fun to be had. Not a fan of the white stuff, check out Central Oregon's vast selection of restaurants and breweries. There is an abundance of family-friendly indoor activities as well. Spring can bring snow to sunshine to high winds and rain, but our wildflowers are the most amazing around and worth the wait. Our hot sunny days make it the perfect time to float in the rivers, explore the Cascade Lakes Highway, mountain bike through the forest, or paddle board on our lakes. Fall’s shorter days are lit up by the changing leaves, fall colors, and amazing sunsets behind the cascade mountains.
