We’ve been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1963, proudly offering 24/7 emergency, large-animal, and small-animal services. With over 20 doctors and a support team of 75+ dedicated professionals, we provide comprehensive care for our community - from routine wellness to advanced emergency and surgical cases.
Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, multiple surgical suites, telemetry, and a fully supported ICU designed for complete inpatient care. With a full in-house laboratory and exceptional technical staff, our ER team is positioned to deliver gold-standard medicine every day.
Your Role: Emergency Veterinarian
As an Emergency Veterinarian at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, you’ll join a seasoned team that thrives on collaboration and compassionate care. You’ll handle a diverse caseload, from trauma and internal medicine to emergency surgery, supported by skilled technicians and an engaged leadership team.
You’ll also have access to a robust network of specialists, peer mentors, and learning opportunities through Thrive’s nationwide community - including CE programs, mentorship, and leadership development pathways tailored to every stage of your career.

Compensation
We offer a competitive, no-negative-accrual PROSAL model that rewards both your time and your talent.
Annual range: $200,000-$240,000 base (dependent on experience, skill set, and shift mix).
Additional compensation opportunities available through production and shift differentials.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- Active Washington State Veterinary License (or eligibility prior to start)
- Active DEA license or eligibility
