Exciting News! Our veterinary hospital is reopening in April 2026, and we are looking for passionate veterinary professionals to help us rebuild and grow our team.Mountain View Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Central Point, Oregon. Experienced CVT preferred but willing to train the right person!
Signing Bonus of $2000 to the right candidates!
- Starting Salary: $21 - 25 per hour, depending on experience education, certifications and licensure
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts. Variable days based on available DVM coverage to start.
- Additional Benefits: Continuing education allowance, License reimbursement, Scrub allowance
- Location: 1333 Plaza Blvd e, Central Point, OR 97502

This is a unique opportunity to join a hospital that is starting fresh with a renewed focus on team medicine, high-quality patient care, and utilizing technicians to their full potential. Who you are:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) in Oregon required - or ability to obtain/transfer license within 3 months of hire
- Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred
- 3 years' experience as a veterinary technician or assistant in a veterinary clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
- Perform basic exam procedures
- Skilled in venipuncture and Intravenous (IV) catheter placement (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
- Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
- Perform complete dental procedures, including digital x-rays, scaling, polishing, charting
- Confident with general anesthesia and surgical assisting (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique, recovery)
- Perform medical math, accurately calculate, draw up and administer drugs
- Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); automated in-house machines
- Excellent client communication/education
- Ability to perform Technician appointments independently, including accurate medical record documentation
